The man behind the mess
Manny Gacet is a Tampa-based stand-up comedian and spoken word poet, born and raised in Miami. His material starts human, takes a hard left, and usually returns with blood on the bumper.
His voice is shaped by Cuban heritage, fatherhood, autism, a major weight-loss journey, and recovery from addiction. Offstage, he reads, writes, and asks astrophysics questions that make normal small talk impossible.
Within six months of starting stand-up, Manny won Tampa’s New Faces of Comedy. He now performs and hosts across Florida, including regular appearances at Side Splitters. Yes, this paragraph is the respectable one.
